oh no what if i'll never be good #5

 Hi blog!

maybe this should be more like a once a month thing where I share my monthly revelation bc theres always something yk. Ok, so when I say "good," you might think "good at what you chungus??" so I'm going to tell you what I mean ok. "Good" as in at school, at sport, at art, at friend, at whatever. and i'll be the first to say that I have failed more than ive done well in about everything ive ever done. And I KNOW some people are special sallys and they're blessed and touched by the hands of God and are goated at it all, but I am not one of those people.

so the fear really comes up when you fail for like the millionth time and you cant help but spiral and now ur like

oh no what if ill never be good

and thats a big issue if you ask me. but I'm pretty sure all problems have solutions unless your name is Schrodinger or something. so here is amal's magical unicorn take:

- A definition of "good" is about as subjective as that dress that is obvi gold and white you poser. So good does not have to be defined by winning or by the handshake from that one teacher or by the oohs and ahhs your friends and family give, if you don't want it to be. good to me is this: would me from a year ago be excited? and 6 out of 7 times the answer is yes. Because if you exist, you evolve, and if you evolve, you grow, and that is so exciting. Being good is progress

- the most precious thing we have on this earth is the love we give to each other so no matter what you do, let it bring you love figure the rest out ok that makes it more fun

- and maybe thats not enough for some people

Drive is a circle- if you want to be better, if you want to be great, then that itself is fuel to push you forward. And as long as you're moving forward, you will grow. But thats not to forget the important skill of effort so yea

So, to wrap it up like a stunning gift- you will be good and probably in a way you didn't think you would be. So its not about someone telling you youre good, or handing you an award, it's about the effort you put forth and the journey  #philosiophic

 ok so here I go! I'm not totally sure where the idea came from- maybe it was buried under a ton of brain fat. ppl pleasing vs being nice #4

 Hey guys im back!! idk if anyone really cares about this little blog but I do so thats probably enough. Today I went on a super fun expedition to Costco. I love you costco . Anyways, I was at the food court and I really super wanted a sweet treat (as one does) so I go to the little ciosc (idk how to spell it :( and i buy an ice cream cup with CHOCOLATE SYPURP this is vital to the story so dont forget ok. So i wait my turn (a whopping 20 mins) and this super nice lady I think her name was Silvia hands me a cup that contains: 1) some vanilla ice cream 😄👰💜 2) strawberry syrup 😀 now this wouldnt be a big deal except for the fact i stongly dislike strawberry drizzle there were chunks and evrything it was truly disheartening. This nice lady realizes and offers me like 3 times to remake it. I figured she was really busy and I didnt want to make her life harder so I just took it. long story short i went back, bought the one i wanted, and waited 10 more mins. THE POINT IS i probably...

the teen girl fantasy and fomo #2

  Hey guys! I'm back and blogging sooo yea. ☺ Incase youre illiterate or something the title of this blog is "the teen girl fantasy and fomo," which could be a tiny bit confusing so let me catch you up.    From my experience as a teenage girl, it can be lowk easy to fear missing out. The "teen girl fantasy" is what I can only describe as what you watched on disney channel growing up.  Yk like everyone's driving a cute convertible on the beach,  there just so happens to be a bunch of cute boys to play volleyball with and even tho u don't play volleyball everyone's rlly good and all is well. Or something like that basically a perfect world where you can be gorgeously overtaken by drama, boys who don't care about you, and a seemingly unlimited amount of money.  Obvi life isn't like that- and maybe you didn't want it to be.
